ABX Purchases New Building/ Expands Production to 75,000 square feet

ABX Engineering, Inc. is a 25-year-old ISO 9001-2008 approved contract electronics manufacturer which targets prototype NPI, medium to large sized projects and provides coast to coast coverage o accounts nationwide with offices in San Francisco, San Diego and Charlotte, NC. ABX has purchased a new building and is implementing plans for further expansion and specialization of production capabilities. The new building, purchased earlier this year, will add approximately 45,000 square feet of additional production space.

Paul Leininger, ABX's President stated "The success of ABX, in our 25 year history has always been our people. The factory and equipment are the tools that our team uses to satisfy the ever-changing needs of our customers. Our team has always done a great job in providing the best utilization of equipment and facilities to cost effectively support our customers production needs with quality EMS services. In the past ten years our business has significantly expanded into increased box build, testing, and more recently for many of our customers complete pack out with direct shipment options to their customers and distribution centers.

The new building provides an expansive 35,000 square feet of open production floor space, 20 ft ceilings and semi-truck loading docks. This provides us with the facilities to support more diverse production capability, systems test, pack-out, and when required, warehousing and distribution for our customers. In addition, this will open up additional space (at ABX) for operations, materials and engineering personnel in our current campus. This shows the commitment ABX has to continually grow and improve its offerings for its customers. The ABX team is truly looking and moving forward with this new building and the further expansion of our capabilities."

Construction is underway and the new facility is scheduled to open in Spring 2012, increasing ABX total production space up to 75,000 square feet.
