ABX Completes ISO 9001-2008 Audit

ABX Engineering, Inc. is a 23-year-old ISO 9001-2008 approved contract electronics manufacturer which targets prototype, medium to large sized projects, now providing coast to coast coverage with offices in San Francisco, San Diego and Charlotte, NC.

ABX has successfully completed the ISO 9001-2008 Audit.

Pete Mateo, ABX Quality Manager stated, "ABX has continued to improve our QMS (Quality Management Systems) procedures to create a quality culture that our factory and management staff embrace and participate in daily."

Teamwork works!

Mateo stated, "With over 20 years of experience in production and quality control systems, the senior management team at ABX has established a quality culture of "teamwork works." Simply put, this means, everyone in ABX production, materials, quality and management are a part of the quality team. Everyone is encouraged to communicate when they have suggestions to improve product quality, or see something that could be a possible problem. This attitude of teamwork puts all the focus on creating the best possible product for our customers, rather than placing blame when a problem is found. As a result, processes are continually improving and everyone takes even more pride in quality and workmanship."

ISO 9000 is a family of standards for quality management systems. ISO 9001 which is one of the standards in the ISO 9000 family includes, procedures that cover all key processes, monitoring processes to ensure they are effective, keeping adequate records, creation of appropriate and corrective action procedures where necessary, regular review of individual processes and the quality system itself for effectiveness to facilitate continual improvement. ABX has been ISO certified since 1998.
