ABX Expands Production Capabilities

ABX Engineering, Inc. is a 24-year-old ISO 9001-2008 approved contract electronics manufacturer which targets prototype, medium to large sized projects, now providing coast to coast coverage with offices in San Francisco, San Diego and Charlotte, NC. ABX has expanded production capabilities with the completion of construction and equipment installation in a new facility at 839 Hinckley Road

The new facility , across the street from the main factory has over 18,500 square feet of additional production area, expanded box build area, repair depot and additional production/system testing capabilities.

Mark Leninger who, along with the help of the executive and production management team, planned and supervised the construction of the new facility said, "As we (ABX) have grown we have expanded production utilizing additional building space near our 880 Hinckely facility, including a building that used to be used as a church. The new building 839, as we call it, represents a significant expansion of our capabilities and manufacturing technology at ABX. We were able to put 839 together from scratch to better facilitate our production workflow, support expanded box build and testing capabilities and provide the capability for an isolated, dedicated green (RoHS) line. 839 along with our main operation across the street offers our customers a complete production capability, from printed circuit board assembly, test, box build, systems test and pack out, we are really excited to be ramping up production in this new building."
