Phil Frierson joins ABX as the Director of Quality

In 2019 ABX Engineering celebrates over 33 years of serving our customers offering full turnkey manufacturing, from new product introduction through volume turnkey manufacturing and Electromechanical Assembly.

ABX is ISO 9001-2015, AS9100D and ISO 13485-2003 certified, ITAR registered with fully trained workforce to IPC 610 Class II & Class III, J-STD-001 with certified trainers on staff. Production is on-shore with 55,000 square foot of manufacturing facilities in Burlingame, California and sales support office in San Diego CA.

Phil Frierson has joined ABX as the Director of Quality. Phil brings over 30 years’ experience in quality & reliability assurance. Prior to ABX Engineering, Phil was director of Quality at Streamline Circuits, a manufacturer of PCB’s. He was also Director of Quality and EHS for MoSys Inc., a Fabless semiconductor firm for nearly eight years. At Mosys he started up and staffed the quality group for the company and was the leader in their ISO certification process. Phil has held other positions in management such as Director of New Product Introduction, VP of quality and VP Operations for companies in the semiconductor electronics space. Mr. Frierson graduated from University of San Francisco with a degree in Organizational Behavior and a degree from De Anza College with emphasis on Quality Assurance Technology.
